Hi Everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted yet..but I thought the email would hold you over for a bit while I got myself acclimated. Where to begin? Let's start with a run down of my first week here. The first week was filled with orientation..blah blah blah..mastering the art of catching a tro tro (local bus service), bartering for a taxi cab, and tingling my taste buds with the local dishes. Yesterday we went to Tawale Beach and it was stunning. The waves were huge and kept getting closer and closer to us. The set up was really nice...Tiki huts every where and kabobs roasting while Ghanian Highlife music plays in the background. Funny thing happened to my while I was dancing...some random guy comes up to me and asks me if I want to be in a Ghanaian movie...now I am a major skeptic so of course i'm questioning him and his intentions but part of me is really eager to give him a call and check it out...what's the worst that could happen? He told me that he wanted to meet up today and I would meet with Van Vicker, and the other actors/actresses...I told him if I did decide to come that I would bring a friend...little does he know I meant Male friend....you can't trust anyone these days...so I think I am going to give him a call right now and I will update you all with the outcome..I'm trying not to be internet-dependant but sometimes I just get this craving to Facebook or email....and it sucks that it isn't very accessible and I have to walk to this damn internet cafe to contact the world...yeah and one more thing. Most of ya'll have my number and if you don't well ask somebody! I've stopped buying call credit so don't expect me to call often. I will email, and I will Facebook so if worse comes to worse you'll just have to wait to hear my voice in May ;)
Shine!

Hi Nenelwa! It sounds as though you are getting a Ghanian experience... local transport, cyber cafes, food etc. enjoy it all. So, are we going to see your name in lights?
